Smoothie
A luxurious, dessert-like smoothie packed with skin-loving vitamins and plant-powered energy.
This smoothie is a gourmet treat that tastes like a strawberry milkshake, but acts like a health elixir! Pairing fresh strawberries with a naturally sweet banana creates a classic fruity base, but the real magic happens when we blend in whole, crunchy almonds. The almonds completely emulsify with the milk, creating a rich, marzipan-like depth of flavor and providing healthy fats that slow down digestion to keep your energy rock-solid for hours.
Drop your whole almonds into the bottom of your blender cup first, so they are closest to the blades.
Rinse and remove the green caps from your strawberries, chop your banana into chunks, and add them both to the blender.
Pour the cold milk over the top of the ingredients.
Start blending on medium speed to break down the hard almonds, then crank it to high for a full 60 to 90 seconds. You want to make sure the almonds are completely pulverized into a smooth, buttery cream. Enjoy cold!
